Korea Drone and UAM Expo to open in Incheon on July 15
South Korea will open its 2026 Drone and UAM Expo in Incheon on July 15.
The three-day event will be held at Songdo Convensia and will bring together more than 130 organisations. The programme includes an industrial exhibition, international conferences, a drone festival, drone delivery demonstrations, air taxi flight demonstrations and a drone football tournament.
The expo is designed to show how drones and urban air mobility could become part of daily life and industrial operations. Public-facing events will include drone light shows and drone pilot lessons, while the business programme will focus on aircraft, services, infrastructure and regulatory planning.
Administrative and public agencies will use the event to present drones as tools for disaster response, safety management and facility inspections. Government bodies will also outline the status of Drone Demonstration City operations, progress toward commercial drone services, national drone infrastructure and plans for a drone traffic management system.
An international zone will feature government representatives and companies from the United States, Canada, Senegal, Nigeria and Mauritania, with participants seeking investment and partnership opportunities. Parallel meetings will include a global conference on drones and UAM, the Drone Industry Alliance General Assembly, the 20th UAM Team Korea Working Group meeting, a UAM Olympiad technical seminar and a briefing for the fourth round of Drone Special Free Zone applications; the agenda signals a push to move drone and UAM technology from demonstrations toward managed public and commercial deployment.
