Antigravity Unveils 8K 360 Drone at IFA 2025

Antigravity used IFA 2025 in Berlin to make the public debut of its A1, which it says is the world's first 8K all-in-one 360 drone. The launch marks the company's first appearance at the consumer technology show and comes as drone makers search for fresh ways to revive innovation in the consumer segment.

At a booth shared with Insta360, Antigravity let visitors try the A1 alongside its Vision goggles and Grip controller, pitching the setup as an immersive flight system. The company said the drone has a built-in 360 camera, captures 8K 360 video without an external camera attachment, supports real-time data transmission and allows users to adjust shooting settings during flight.

The A1 collected 18 awards during IFA 2025, including several Best of IFA honors from outlets such as Wired, Tom's Guide and TechRadar. The recognition centered on the product's mix of 360 capture, simplified controls and flight technology aimed at making high-quality aerial video easier for a broader group of users.

Antigravity said it plans to showcase the A1 at additional trade shows in the coming months. If the device delivers on its positioning, the launch could raise pressure on rivals to move beyond incremental upgrades and push the consumer drone market toward more immersive, creator-focused aerial imaging.
