DJI enters heavy-lift drone market with 200-kilogram payload models
DJI has entered the heavy-lift drone market with two 200-kilogram transport models.
The company launched the T200 and FC200, its first large unmanned aircraft designed for material transport. The T200 is priced at 99,000 yuan, while the FC200 is priced at 134,000 yuan.
The move expands DJI’s product line into a fast-growing commercial drone transport segment. Demand is being driven by infrastructure construction in remote mountainous areas, where traditional transport methods are labor-intensive, inefficient, hazardous and environmentally damaging.
Industry activity has accelerated sharply. Transport drone sorties in 2025 were eight times the level recorded in 2024, and more than 11.5 million tons of goods had been carried by April 2026.
DJI is entering a market that already includes competitors such as the Ruhong Yun 220 and Zhongce’s KF series, with the sector expected to double in 2026 and annual demand estimated at 8,000 to 10,000 units. Its arrival could speed adoption of heavy-lift drones and intensify competition in aerial material transport.
